The Brookline Police and Fire Departments have re-opened the lobby to the town’s public safety building on a limited basis.
Social distancing markers have been placed on the floor inside the building, and a plexiglass enclosure has been constructed around the front desk, as well as an additional barrier to promote physical distancing. Additionally, the lobby now features a hand sanitizing station and all visitors are required to wear a face covering inside.
There is a limit of five people in the lobby at one time, and the service windows for the traffic and records division and fire prevention remain closed. The lobby is open for general questions and assistance, as well as medication disposal using the kiosk inside.
